Isaac Samuel, ^Rachel Grace^ and Abigail Hope

Our babies Isaac and Rachel were born 17 weeks too early on April 4, 2006 at 9:57 am and 9:58 am, respectively.

Rachel's sac pPROMed (preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes) at 18 weeks but she was very brave and strong. She fought for 5 more weeks inside her mommy with no amniotic fluids and saved her brother's life. Rachel was born at 467 grams (1 lb 0.5 ounce) and 28 cm (11 inches) and stayed with us for 102 minutes before going to heaven into the arms of Jesus.

Isaac was born at 641 grams (1 lb 6.6 ounces) and 31 cm (12 inches). He stayed in NICU for 6 months during which he was on the ventilator for more than 3 months and had open surgery to ligate a PDA as large as his aorta and laser eye surgery to resolve his ROP (Level III). With the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, Isaac came home into our arms on October 7, 2006 at 2,750 grams (6 lbs 1 ounce) and 28 cm (18 inches).

Please continue to pray for him to grow and develop well despite being born at 23 weeks 0 day gestational age.

After almost a decade of infertility and not being able to get pregnant without medical intervention, we were miraculously able to get pregnant naturally in the summer of 2007. Abigail arrived full term on April 3, 2008, a day before Isaac's and Rachel's birthday.
